In the Seewaldsee nature sanctuary, this moorland lake lies amid beautiful countryside. It is famous for its unique flora and fauna.

Different types of path depending on the direction you take.
- The wide forestry lane to the right of the lake is also suitable for prams and wheelchairs.
- If you opt for the left side of the lake, you will occasionally be walking over exposed roots and stones.

Directions to the Seewaldsee car park:
Between the town center of St. Koloman and the village of Wegscheid, you will turn off onto the Trattberg scenic road. From there you will be able to reach the Seewaldsee car park in about a 15-minute drive. The hiking bus runs every Saturday, Sunday and public holiday from 9 May - 26 October 2015 as far as the Seewaldsee turn-off.
