On four info boards, you can learn fascinating facts about the over 150 million-year-old limestone.

You will also discover how the mountains around St. Koloman were created, how they were shaped during the Ice Age by the Salzach Glacier, and other fascinating details: For example, this glacially abraded rock was actually created by the movement of a glacier 150 million years ago, at a time when that glacier extended practically all the way to today's Munich.
