An excursion destination for the whole family

– for mountain biking, hiking, mountaineering and walking; or perhaps for pure enjoyment, maybe enjoying hearty country snacks at one of the mountain huts along the way.

The summit of the Trattberg is 1,758 meters above sea level. You can actually see it from the town of St. Koloman. The alpine grazing areas of the Trattberg are one of SalzburgerLand's most beautiful excursion destinations.

The 9 km-long Trattberg Scenic Road is also suitable for cars and tour coaches. You are able to enjoy marvelous views even during the drive out there. On the stage from the Vorder- to the Hintertrattberg, a lookout platform invites you to stop, relax and take in the scenery. Panorama boards provide an excellent overview of the magnificent mountain world which surrounds you.  Every Saturday, Sunday and public holiday from May -  October, a hiking bus Nr. 460 runs to the Trattberg.
